Host a Birthday or Anniversary Fundraiser

in Honor of a Baby

We are deeply sorry for the loss of your precious baby. We know birthdays, anniversaries, and other meaningful holidays are especially difficult when you’re missing your baby. A digital fundraiser provides an opportunity for your community to show their love and support for you and your baby while supporting Sharing Parents.

Create Your Fundraiser

  1. Visit the Honoring Our Babies fundraising page.
  2. Click I Want To Fundraise For This to create your own page.
  3. Complete the registration fields. (Put your name–not baby’s name–in the field that asks, Whose name would you like to display on your Fundraising Page?)
  4. Share your fundraiser on social media or via email and make “the ask” – ask your community to donate in honor of your baby.
Host a Fundraiser

Tips for a successful fundraiser:

  • Upload a picture of yourself so donors know the fundraiser is from you
  • Tell your story. In the Add a Note section, write something special about your baby’s impact on your life, why you are hosting this fundraiser, and how Sharing Parents helped you. Help people understand how important this cause is to you and what their support means.
  • Share your fundraiser in multiple locations. Click on the sharing links on your fundraising page to share instantly on Facebook, Twitter, email, and via text so you can get it in front of all the people who support you.
  • Share your goal. Tell your network what reaching your goal will do for Sharing Parents. As you get closer to your goal, send out updates as to how much more is left to go to get you there.
