Our Subsequent Pregnancy Support Meetings are intended for parents who are currently pregnant or considering trying to get pregnant again following a loss. We look forward to the opportunity to provide a safe and compassionate space where families can give and receive support through the uniquely difficult emotions and challenges which a subsequent pregnancy can present. These meetings do not have a set structure and are open discussions among the participants. Many parents find it helpful to come to subsequent pregnancy meetings each month and form bonds with the other parents attending meetings. These bonds provide incredible support throughout the subsequent pregnancy journey.
On occasion, at the beginning of a meeting, parents may return to share the safe arrival of their newborn with the group. This is an opportunity to tell their story and answer questions the group may have, if they are comfortable. The family sharing their safe arrival only stays for the introduction and the meeting then continues as normal. Many parents find the sharing of safe arrivals to be a source of hope in their own journey.
The entire Sharing Parents community would like to share in the joy a safe arrival brings. If you would like to share your safe arrival in our quarterly newsletter, please fill out the form found here.
