Counselor Referral Directory

Sharing Parents provides this directory of counselors as a service to parents in the greater Sacramento area. Counseling is a very personal experience and its important for you to find a provider you trust. Counselors recommended by a Sharing Parents parent are noted as “Parent Recommended = Yes” as we feel parent recommendations are valuable; however, please remember that what worked for one person may not work for another. It may be best to try two or three counselors to find a professional you feel comfortable working with.

If you worked with a listed provider and would like to add a recommendation, please do so here.

We are not affiliated with these professionals, nor can we guarantee the benefits of any therapeutic service, but we hope you find the directory helpful in connecting with a counselor that fulfills your needs. Click on a counselor’s name to view additional information.

Description

As a licensed clinical social worker, I offer therapy to support the treatment of perinatal mood disorders including anxiety, depression, infertility, trauma, illness, grief and loss. I have advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Perinatal Mental Health, and utilize other evidenced-based modalities including a trauma-informed approach and mindfulness techniques. I also hold a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International.

As a therapist, I honor the courage it takes to ask for help and recognize that each person has their own unique needs in their perinatal or parenting journey. I consider it a privilege to hold space for you and strive to provide a non-judgmental space where we can be curious about your experiences and how they inhibit your overall wellness. It is through collaboration, trust, and our therapeutic relationship that I will work with you to develop a personalized and evidence-based treatment plan to support you in the healing process and develop skills centered around your goals.
