Sharing Parents was started in Sacramento in 1981 by a Lamaze instructor who saw the need in the lives of her students when their babies died. We are a support group for those whose babies have died from the time of conception through early infancy.

We are an all-volunteer, non-profit, tax exempt organization, supported only by volunteers and donations.
There are no fees to attend our meetings. Sharing Parents is based in Sacramento, CA.

We offer a variety of meetings, telephone support, a newsletter, and Internet resources:

General Meetings for bereaved parents suffering the loss of their baby(ies).
Subsequent Pregnancy Meetings for parents contemplating a future pregnancy and those who are currently pregnant.
Prenatal Decision Phone Support is telephone support between meetings for parents who have made the difficult decision to interrupt their very wanted pregnancies after learning that their baby had severe or fatal anomalies.
Short Term Grief Series of weekly meetings for parents with recent losses.
Listening Line telephone support between meetings for parents, including fathers, who would like to talk to a compassionate parent.

Newsletter - 4 issues printed a year.
Parent to Parent Connection for parents who would like to support and connect directly with one another through email.

Sharing Parents is a non-profit organization
There is never a fee to attend our meeting
