Our beautiful daughter, Amelia was stillborn at 21
weeks 5 days on March 19, 2004 after an emergency induction
necessitated by severe preeclampsia. I would be happy to talk with
other mothers who have suffered a loss relative to preeclampsia, or to
other disorders that necessitated emergency induction to save their
own lives. |

Our daughter, Payton Hadley, was born at 31 weeks
May 28, 2003. I had severe polyhydramnios and she had fetal hydrops.
Payton was diagnosed with Noonan Syndrome and severe hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy (thickening of her heart wall muscle). Payton lived at
home with us for 2 months. She died October 23, 2003 (4 months, 25
days old) after a 4 week stay in the PICU. We are willing to talk with
anyone, and we are sorry you are here experiencing your own loss of
your sweet baby(ies). |

Date of loss: August 28, 2001. I was 25 weeks along
when we decided to terminate our pregnancy due to our daughter having
a genetic disorder called Trisomy 18. If anyone would like to talk
regarding a similar experience, or just having lost a child, please
e-mail me. |
